EJ, I have a 18 foot Regal LXR with a V6 Volvo, we were out in the other day and ran fine, till we started to come in, it started right up and we started to plane and it stop like it ran out of gas, which I know better, so let it sit for a few and it started and then stalled out, it like it's not getting gas, so after getting towed in, I am now looking for someone that will help me and get the boat running again without being taken to the cleaners. Think you can help?

Hello, EJ. here, first off I would change the fuel filter, that's most likely your problem. You may have water in your gas if you bought marine fuel. Change the fuel filter and get a can of Sea Foam for the gas you have left in the tank. I'm in Darien Ga., if you keep having trouble with it we can get together, I can change the filter for you. I work from Jacksonville North to Hilton Head.

EJ, thanks for getting back to me, I missed your response, come to find out it was an electrical issue, so I had someone fix it, took the boat out and it wouldn't shut off, took it back to him and he fixed it again, we tested it and it started right up and shut off, however, I took the boat out for the first time since that last repair, it has no power now, it runs fine, but when you throttle forward nothing happens, it moves at idle speed and thats it. I really need someone who knows that they are doing, not impressed with having to keep taking it back to this guy again.
