Florida girl through and through. I grew up on a boat out of Tavernier, FL. The past two years I have started sport fishing, diving, and sailing. I dive Sebastian Inlet area to south FL (open for new places of course). I like to lobster and sight see, haven't picked up a spear yet.
I have grown to know the major knots, types of bait for certain fish, how to set up outriggers, clean boat after use, set up a boat before use, boat manners, and how to manage to make sure everyone has sunscreen on!
I recently started sailing as much as possible with hopes of learning all the aspects of crewing a boat. I typically play as the deckhand to help throw tacks, jibes, lift and bring down mainsail and spinnaker.
I am quick on my feet and even a faster learner. I enjoy getting out early and staying on the water to sunset. If I don't know how to do something, I am not afraid to ask for help and then actually learn what needs to be done next time.
I have cheery, positive outlook on life in general and boating is the happiest place I can find myself. I like to catch big fish, drink a beer, and tell fish stories.
