Bill B 4 years ago Hi Sally, I have a Vocational Technical degree in Industrial Electricity which covers DC (battery) I also have a 28' Nordic Tug that I do all repair work on.I hope talk with you soon.Bill Brady Bill B 4 years ago Hope to *** Sally M 4 years ago I had a survey done on the boat, and was told there is a danger because too many wires are connected to one battery post. Also, I have an inverter on board, but it needs to be mounted to the boat, which at present its not, and it should be grounded to the boat's green core (not sure about that last term). There are 3 batteries, and two are banked. Also, would like to add a polarity indicator for safety when connecting to shore power. Michael D 4 years ago Hey Bill I just bought an Ericson 29 and I want to add shore power and a fridge. I want to do it myself but really want a consultant to make sure I do it right. Perhaps draw it up or check my plans. Let me know You must log in to send a new comment.
