Need some work done on your boat? - Sausalito, CA

I'm looking for some work and I love working on boats! Not only do I
live-aboard with my family full-time (which means I am constantly
working on my own boat), but I've "finished" two boats of ours, worked
on hard tenders, and worked on friends' boats as well.

Here's a list of what we've done on our own boats and what we could
do/provide for you:

All manner of work involving fiberglass
Basic carpentry skills
Brightwork
Can construct aluminum spars from blanks with plans
Anything 12 volt electrical (and I'm sure 24V or higher would be easy
for me as well)
Mechanical skills (have done heads, water pumps, plumbed diesel tanks, tune-ups)
Any work at the masthead (we have the bosun's chair)
Can assist in raising and lowering masts given appropriate accommodations
Inspect and replace standing rigging
Any repairs or improvements to hard tenders, fiberglass or wood
Canvas work
We've done a little bit of sail repair, but have resources to do larger repairs
Any on-board plumbing
We've done a good bit of work below the waterline with boats on the
hard (fairing, blister removal, dealt with frozen seacocks, bottom
paint, epoxy barrier coats, etc.)
Can install any through-deck fittings properly to protect deck and
cabin top cores

If it involves boats, we've probably had our hands in it to some
degree. We do good work and take pride in a good-looking finished
product. Our rates would depend on how easy it is for us to get to the
boat in question to do the work. $20 to $25 an hour.
