2 years agoHi. Im a Boatsetter owner and have a booking on the 24th from 12 to 6. The client is looking for a captain for boca bash at lake boca. The boat is located out of Deerfield Beach. Please let me know if you are available. Thanks

2 years agoHi Charlie: The Boca Bash looks to be a big event. Lots of fun. Wish i could be your sober captain! But, i have commitments already that sunday. BTW, when asking for a captain in the future, it helps to know what boat and how many passengers. For example, I dont do sail boats. and my license is limited to six passengers. Anyhow, thanks for thinking of my services. Steve

9 months agoDo you captain motor yachts? If so we have a 49’ GulfStar that we need repositioned from Englewood Florida to Port Canaveral. We would like to be on the boat as well and learn how to handle her during the passage. If that is something you are willing to do let me know. Departure date would be September 1st and last 3-4 days depending on if we go through Okeechobee or go around Florida the coastal route. Please let me know if you are interested.

9 months agoHi Richelle: Certainly, I am interested. 3-4 days suggests a pretty fast cruising speed? Are you planning on anchoring out or marina stays? Do you have a plan to get back to Englewood (where the car would likely be parked)? I am very familiar with Canaveral and the ICW. I am also very familiar with the Keys area. My wife and I are planning on doing Okeechobee in August on our 40' and that will be my first time through the locks. With a few more details i can offer a price quote. Best is by email.
